OPTIONAL TOO TECH AIR TANK MOUNTING

The worst case fitting problem I have seen for these Air Tanks is a CR 450 with fat bars AND  20 mm offset triple clamps.  Even this scenario is easily handled by using a 90 degree brass fitting (Showa Twin Chamber Fork Cap shown).

The pictures below illustrates the assembly using a 90 degree brass adapter.

In this picture the brass adapter has a 90 degree bend in it.  The fitting is positioned forward.  The swivel fitting is then tightened to it as shown in the picture.  Note how the steel tube comes straight forward and then bends 90 degrees in towards the center.  The tube forms a cradle for the Air Tank to sit in.  With this mounting arrangement the tank sits lower and farther forward than with the standard mounting system.

This may be a better view of how the steel tube is directed forward before it turns 90 degrees and runs towards the middle of the bike.  Note the arrow points to the 90 degree brass adapter.
