Exhaust Section
This sewer pipe of an exhaust is 3 1/2" in diameter. I welded mandrel bends together for all turns in the system.
The entire center section of the exhaust unbolts for easy maintenance. The rear muffler is a 3" large body Dynomax.
A close up of how many mandrel pieces were required for some of the tricky bends in the system. The center section muffler is a 3 1/2" short body Borla. Without this second muffler, the system had a loud and obnoxious resonant point around 1700 RPM.
This Flowmaster Y pipe ( (2) 2 1/2" pipes into (1) 3 1/2" pipe), started out 17" long. I shortened it down to about 8" to make it fit in this system.
There are countless hours in fabricating this center section. Do not even consider building your car without a drop out exhaust system.
